About me

My name is Danna and I am a home baker. I started baking a few years ago with the intention of finding delicious gluten-free desserts for my celiac son to enjoy. He hated feeling left out at birthday parties and the selection of gluten-free goodies to be found was often slim to none. He also didn’t appreciate it when I would make baked goods that he couldn’t enjoy. At this time, many of the recipes I would try weren’t gluten-free specifically and to be honest not every recipe worked! There truly is a science to baking without gluten. As the years have progressed, I have found more and more recipes that are not only developed as gluten free – but are also delicious! Having so much success in baking has really grown my passion and now I find myself seeking out more and more time to bake new and exciting foods – and not just desserts either!

My goal is to provide gluten-free baked goods that are made with care, attention to taste, and a touch of love to people who eat gluten-free (whether for health or enjoyment!) but who don’t care to bake, or have the time to bake. My baking can definitely also be enjoyed by those who are not gluten-free (as my family and friends will attest to). My promise to you is that everything that leaves my kitchen has been taste-tested for flavour, moisture, and taste! If I don’t like it, I will not offer it!
